SIKESTON -- Johnnie Lou Russell Worley, 86, died at 4 a.m. May 10, 2003, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Oct. 13, 1916 in Tupelo, Miss., to the late Fred Harrison and Mattie Lou Ivie, she had lived in Rochelle, Ill., most of her life moving to Sikeston in 1976. She was of Baptist belief.
In 1937, she married Willie Lee Russell who preceded her in death in 1975.
On Aug. 3, 1982 she married Brown Worley who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband include: four sons, James Russell of Rochelle, Clyde Russell of Scott City, Bill Russell of Corvallis, Ore., and Dennis Russell of Sikeston; two daughters, Bernice Markley of Chandler, Texas, and Peggy Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind.; four sisters, Hazel Floyd of Pensacola, Fla., Pauline Cameron, Jo Ann Annis and Udell McCoy all of Parkin, Ark.; and 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Lonnie Russell, one brother, Cecil Ivie, and one sister, Francis Annis.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Maxey Schrieber, pastor of the Parker Pentecostal Memorial Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in West Memphis, Ark.
