LILBOURN - Bobby Leon Sullenger, 66, died May 8, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 28, 1936, in Wardell, son of the late Herman and Helen Looney Sullenger, he was a retired farmer and member of American Legion Post 595 in New Madrid. He was also a member of the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Marston.
On Nov. 11, 1957, he married Kathryn Campbell who preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 1972.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kimberly Ann Hanner of Lilbourn; one son, Robert Anthony Sullenger of Lilbourn; two brothers, Tim Sullenger and Tony Sullenger of Lilbourn; two sisters, Lenna Simpson of Lilbourn and Goldie Hahs of Cape Girardeau; three granddaughters, Kathryn LeAnn Byrd, Chelsey Lauren Sullenger and Emily Paige Sullenger of Lilbourn; one grandson, Jacob Anthony Lewis of Lilbourn; a special friend, Patsy Schaeffer of Lilbourn; and many other relatives and friends.
One brother, Jack Sullenger, also preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Baldwin, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
