Born May 18, 1920, in Florence, Ala., son of the late William T. and Mary Wright Davis he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired as a machine operator for Auto Specialties.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald Davis and Dalton and Shirley Davis of Sikeston, Mo., and Terry and Marietta Davis of South Haven; two sisters, Georgia Minton of Baldwin and Edith Fields of South Haven; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Edna King of Benton Harbor.
Two sisters, Katheryn Etienne and Eva Nell Shelton, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Florin Funeral Service Fairplain Chapel in Benton Harbor.
