Born July 23, 1956, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Cornelius and Dorothy Halter Rolwing of Charleston, she graduated in 1974 from Charleston High School and was employed by Wal-Mart in Jackson for 24 years. A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, she was a former chairperson with Wal-Mart for the Children's Miracle Network.
On Aug. 18, 1984, she married David W. Seyer who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: two daughters, Chasady Stortz of Burfordville and Charity Seyer of Jackson; three brothers, Phil Rolwing of East Prairie, Dennis Rolwing of Waxahachie, Texas, and Don Rolwing of Miner; three sisters, Linda Estes and Debbie Rolwing of Charleston and Karen Estes of Diehlstadt; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, where parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Monsignor Richard Rolwing and Monsignor Edward Eftink will officiate.
Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
