ST. PETERS - Mary Sue Cornwell, 59, formerly of Sikeston, died Nov. 12, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Born Oct. 24, 1943, in Sikeston, daughter of Merline Shipley Gaddis of New Madrid and the late Basil Gaddis, she was a cashier for Huck's Convenience Store in St. Peters.
Survivors in addition to her mother include: one son, Scott Baker of St. Peters; one daughter, Angie Basham of St. Peters; two brothers, Charlie Gaddis and Russell Gaddis of Sikeston; one sister, Janice McCanless of Kewanee; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
One sister preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. Friday until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Tom McCanless, pastor of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
