PEORIA, Ill. - Billy Gene Myers, 65, died at 4:14 a.m. Nov. 8, 2002, at his home.

Born Sept. 24, 1937, in Blodgett, Mo., son of the late Chap and Ruby Bonifield Myers, he was a self-employed carpenter in the Peoria area for many years before retiring.

Survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill "B.G." Myers of Pekin and George and Ami Myers and Shane Myers of Peoria; two daughters, Darlene Grant of Creve Coeur and Lisa Bill of Chillicothe; one brother, Bob Myers of East Peoria; two sisters, Loretta Henley of Sikeston, Mo., and Louise Bohannon of Carlock; and eight grandchildren.

Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Services were conducted in Illinois.
