GORDONVILLE -- Jennifer Golden and Matthew Skelton exchanged wedding vows April 17, 2004, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville before the Rev. Gary Hoffstetter.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Teresa Golden of Cape Girardeau and granddaughter of Billy and Jerline Dicus of Sikeston.
Parents of the bridegroom are Kent and Donna Skelton of Jackson.
Organist Susan Koerber provided music for the ceremony.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father and was attended by her aunt, Brenda Warf of DeSoto, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessie Skelton of Oak Ridge, cousin of the bridegroom; and Regina Meyer of Grafton, Ill., aunt of the bride. Flower girl was Abby Meyer of Grafton, cousin of the bride.
Pat Brown of Perryville served his cousin as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Skelton of Oak Ridge, cousin of the bridegroom and Brad Friese of Jackson. Ring bearer was Nicholas Abbott of Fruitland, cousin of the bridegroom. Gary Clements of Biehle, uncle of the bridegroom and William Golden of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, served as ushers.
The wedding reception, hosted by Tory Bowns, was held in the church hall. A dance was held at the Heartland Banquet Hall in Jackson.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents.
The new Mrs. Skelton is a 2002 graduate of Central High School and is employed by Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
A 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, the bridegroom is employed by K&G Clements Construction Co. in Biehle.
Mr. and Mrs. Skelton are making their home in Jackson.
