Picture will tell the story

Michael McClure of Willow Springs was commissioned by Sikeston Missouri Arts (SMARTS) to paint a mural which will depict a time line of Sikeston at the Sikeston Depot. Linda Melkersman, Terri Matthews, Bill Priday and Ed Cowan, who are applying a base coat on Craftmaster's warehouse in preparation for the mural, are members of SMARTS. The completed work will depict this year's 50th Annual Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and go back in time - back to the days of cowboys and Indians.
