FLORISSANT - Dorothy Lucille 'Helen" Foster, 77, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 5, 2005, following a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 29, 1927, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Barney and Mabel Crowell Chism, she had been a beautician for the University of Missouri-St. Louis and partnered with her husband in his heating and air conditioning business, GlennCo. Service. A former member of the Florissant Assembly of God Church, she was a current member of Bethany Chapel. Also a member of the Cardinals Holiday Ramblers Camping Club, she participated in mission trips with the Assemblies of God in the MAPS organization.
Her husband, Glenn P. Foster, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Jannett and Robert Green and Charlotte and Michael Miles; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Paulette Foster; one sister, Ruth Margaret Dinkins; one brother, W.A. "Dub" Chism; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Huchens Mortuary in Florissant.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Chapel with the Rev. Danny Brown, pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
