EAST PRAIRIE - Marjorie Catherine Jackson, 80, died at 8:05 p.m. April 15, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Jan. 21, 1923, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Robert and Hattie Jeffries Nunn, she was a lifelong resident of East Prairie, where she was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Hall.
On Nov. 10, 1942, she married J.C. Jackson Jr. who preceded her in death on March 30, 2002.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Darnell Jackson and Stephen and Suzie Jackson of East Prairie; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Williford of East Prairie; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirley Nunn of St. Charles; two sisters, Jerry Williams and Sue Bard of East Prairie; one sister-in-law and husband, Georgia and Bill Thompson of Bridgeton; six grandchildren, Julie Smith, Jasen Miskell, Blake Jackson and Ali Williford and Brady and wife Marti Jackson of East Prairie and Cyndi Duncan of Wyatt; and two great-grandchildren, Stormi Duncan of Wyatt and Dax Jackson of East Prairie.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nina Jones; and one brother, Bill "Fiddler" Nunn.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. Earl Norman of Cape Girardeau will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Jackson, Robert Jackson, Blake Jackson, Brady Jackson, Jasen Miskell and David Williford.
