SIKESTON - Lola Mae Bennett, 86, died April 17, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Nov. 22, 1916, in Blodgett, daughter of the late Cleve McCann and Clara Mae Kernell McCann Eaker, she was a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church. She worked in the food division of Sikeston Public Schools before retiring.
On Sept. 9 1935, she married William "Reese" Bennett who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1987.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Starks and Linda and Dennis Tinnin of Sikeston; and two grandchildren, Jason Eaton and Joe Tinnin of Sikeston.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pat Bennett Ruhl; one brother, Tricie McCann; and two sisters, Lucille Price and Betty Arbaugh.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Rufus McClean, pastor of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
