PORTAGEVILLE -- Audrey Lynn Royster and Christopher Todd Brannan exchanged wedding vows in a 7 p.m. ceremony Oct. 19, 2002, at the First Baptist Church in Portageville. Ed Jansson, pastor of the First Baptist Church at Kennett, performed the double-ring candlelight ceremony. Scripture reading from St. Matthew was presented by Diana Hennemann, friend of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Curt and Rita Royster of Portageville and the bridegroom is the son of Leslie Holt of Kennett and the late Larry Brannan.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a white, floor-length wedding gown featuring a halter V-neckline with sequined organza over satin. She carried a bouquet of rustic orange roses.
Pianist and organist Bethanne Patterson, cousin of the bride, provided music for the occasion with soloists Jennifer George and Limmie Pulliam, friends of the bridegroom.
Millie Kellams of Portageville attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Halsted of Kenosha, Wis., Lynnette Davenport of Evansville, Ind., Chrissy Warren of Jackson and Robin Stoner of Sikeston, all friends of the bride. Maura Kellams and Kelsey Kellams, nieces of the bride, and Allison Holt, niece of the bridegroom, served as flower girls.
Brian Holt of Kennett served his brother as best man and groomsmen were Jason Dohrmann of Manchester, Chad Pritchett, Brent Carr and John Milam of Kennett, friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were Tom Leeker of Gainesville, Jamie Chitester of Florissant and Josh Bergman of Oakland, Calif., also friends of the bridegroom. Blake Carr, friend of the bridegroom, served as ring bearer.
The guest book attendant was Jill Pritchett of Kennett, and program attendants were Mackenzie Carr and BJ Carr of Kennett, friends of the couple.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Church Family Life Center, where Julie Boyd, Missy McCrate and Melissa Heath served as cake attendants.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Portageville.
