PARMA - J.W. Wilcox, 77, died April 9, 2003, at his home.

Born July 17, 1925, in McCroy, Ark., son of the late James Henry and Mary Melinda Bowen Wilcox, he retired from Federal Mogul in Malden and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

On Aug. 8, 1949, at Osceola, Ark., he married Helen Deen Sandusky who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Lynn Wilcox of San Jose, Calif., and Terry and Teresa Wilcox and Joey Wilcox of Parma; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and James Russell of Corral DeTierra, Calif.; one brother, David Wilcox of Woodlawn, Texas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edd Wilcox and Jimmy Wilcox; three sisters, Ida Faye Hanner, Marie Wagner and Nora Mae Stultz; and one granddaughter, Gwenevere Russell.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating.

Military graveside rites will be conducted at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
