DONIPHAN -- Chad Edward Cato, 28, died Jan. 17, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Neb.
Born Nov. 18, 1979, in Pocahontas, Ark., son of Donald E. Cato of Doniphan and Varina L. Cindy Conn Maxwell of Sikeston, he had lived in Poplar Bluff and owned and operated Cato Trucking.
Other survivors include: four brothers, Donald Coby Cato of Ellsinore, Michael William Cato of Poplar Bluff, Austin W. Maxwell Jr. of Mexico, Mo., and Drew Conn of Sikeston; five sisters, Amy Dianne Cato of Sikeston, Julia Lindsey and Amy Marie Thompson of Mexico, Mo., Victoria Paige Cato of Poplar Bluff and Barbara Maxwell of Shelbina; his grandparents, Dorothy E. Cato and Hazel L. Morse of Doniphan and Thomas A. Conn of Sikeston; and his stepfather, Austin W. Maxwell of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by one grandfather, Robert Edward Cato.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until time for services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Jim Baggett and Rowdy Boyer will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Poplar Bluff.
