DEXTER - James T. Williams, 90, died April 8, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Jan. 13, 1913, in Dexter, son of the late Clarence and Annie Woodard Williams, he was a plumbing and heating contractor in Dexter before retiring and had served as an alderman in Dexter.
On March 27, 1932, in Dexter, he married Isabelle Harget who preceded him in death on April 19, 1993.
Survivors include: one son, James T. Williams Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Marie Phillips of Hudson Fla.; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. Friday until service time at 10 a.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Don Cooper will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
