Supplies for young artists

Terri Matthews, administrator of the Sikeston Missouri Arts Inc., and Linda Melkersman unbox art supplies the organization received from First Artists, a non-profit organization.

First Artists was created to provide creative art supplies to children from low-income families. SMARTS will offer art classes for children by featuring a local artist to help teach.

The art classes will begin this spring and continue through the summer and fall.
