Born April 12, 1914, in Mississippi County, daughter of the late Clyde A. and Minnie Fleming Jones, she had lived in Mississippi County all of her life, where she was a member of the First Church of God in East Prairie. She had worked at the Budget Laundry, the East Prairie R-2 Schools and at the Prairie Manufacturing in East Prairie.
On Feb. 15, 1930, she married Bill K. Marshall, who preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1985.
Survivors include: one son, Billy E. Marshall of Cranston, R.I.; three daughters, Emma Jo Hutcheson of East Prairie, Pansy E. Francis of Fontana, Wis., and Roberta Prewitt of Maryland Heights; one sister, Hazel Brown of East Prairie; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
One brother, Howard A. Jones, and two sisters, Cora Jones and Lillie Jones Irby preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday with Bob Kespelher officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons; honorary pallbearers will be the great-grandsons.
