Ida Mae Wilkins

HAYWOOD CITY - Ida Mae Stevens Wilkins, 54, died March 28, 2003, at her sister's home in St. Louis.

Born April 21, 1948, in Greenville, Miss., daughter of the late Mary Stevens and Wilber Moore, she was a 1966 graduate of Scott County Central High School. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City where she was a member of the choir.

In 1971, she married George Wilkins who preceded her in death in 1985.

One son and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tara Wilkins of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Reginald Wilkins of Washington, Mo., and Marcus Wilkins of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Evelyn Harris of St. Louis and Ruth Wilson of North Hollywood, Calif.; four brothers, Earl Stevens and Rome Stevens of Haywood City, Lee Stevens of Worthington, Ohio, and Mack Stevens of Rasha Ron, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11:45 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Alex Sims, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Haywood City Cemetery.
