CHARLESTON - Lee Henry "Duck" Davis, 68, died June 19, 2004, at his home.
Born June 27, 1935, in Wyatt, son of the late Solomon and Maggie Ingram Davis, he was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Mississippi County. He was a member of the House of Prayer World Outreach Center in Charleston.
On April 16, 1957, he married Emma Lee Johnson who preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 1991.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Narvis and Darlene Davis of Nashville, Tenn., and Henry and Vanessa Davis of Charleston; seven daughters and five sons-in-law, Mildred Wilson, Felicia and Keith Kellum and Salena and James Hamilton of Cape Girardeau, Anchylus Davis and Sharon and Mike Hull of Charleston, Bridgette and Justin Delaney of St. Louis and Amanda and Brad Moore of Nashville; five brothers, Lee Morris Davis of Wyatt, Eugene Davis of St. Peters, Willie Davis and Solomon Davis Jr. of Detroit and Otha Davis of St. Louis; two sisters, Myrtle Lockhart of Detroit and Mary Davis of Charleston; and 29 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the House of Prayer World Outreach Center with the Rev. Ronald Sloan, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
