Born Aug. 31, 1950, in St. Louis, son of the late Orbie and Dorotha Bushong O'Guinn, he was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church where he served as a deacon. He was former owner of G&M Automotive and was a self-employed building contractor since 1997.
He was first married to Jolene Martin O'Guinn of Sikeston.
On May 8, 2000, he married Sandra Tucker Whitener who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Christina O'Guinn and Jonathan and Heather O'Guinn of Sikeston; one daughter, Ashley O'Guinn of Sikeston; one stepson, Jonathan David Whitener of Sikeston; two stepdaughters, Leah Whitener and Elizabeth Whitener of Sikeston; two brothers, Bill O'Guinn of Sikeston and Gene O'Guinn of O'Fallon, Ill.; one sister, June Benson of Sikeston; and two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston with the Rev Richard Whitman, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
