Underwood -- Ashley

SIKESTON -- Tracy Jean Underwood and Gregory Stuart Ashley were married in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 19, 2002, at the First Christian Church. The Rev. Hutson Goza Jr., uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony and Gary Ashley, father of the bridegroom, served as reader for the occasion.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Linda Underwood of Sikeston. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Goza and Hutson Goza of Sikeston, Elmer Underwood of Bloomfield and the late Anna Lois Underwood.

Ashley, son of Gary and Ginger Ashley of St. Peters, is the grandson of Vida McGrady of Davenport, Fla., Ruth Ashley of Lakeland, Fla., and the late William "Skip" McGrady and Kenneth Ashley.

Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist Marci Goza, aunt of the bride, and organist Sharron Latham.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by matron of honor Karmen Rayburn of St. Charles. Bridesmaids were Trisha Taylor of Columbia, Meredith Underwood of St. Louis, sister-in-law of the bride, Kristen Tarwater of Columbia, Sarah McGill of Sikeston and Amber Ashley of Columbia, sister of the bridegroom.

Rob Morrison and Jeff Wilkinson of Chicago, Ill., served the bridegroom as best men. Groomsmen were Jeff Neudecker of Charlotte, N.C., Kevin Smith of Brinkley, Ark., Kip Underwood of St. Louis, brother of the bride and Steve Watson of St. Charles. Ring bearer was Jack Underwood of St. Louis, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Jeff Edgar of Webster Groves and Dez Ziegenhorn of Kansas City and Bart Ziegenhorn of Sikeston, cousins of the bride.

Wedding coordinator was Karen Ziegenhorn of Sikeston, aunt of the bride. Anne Gregson and Amy Thorstad of St. Louis were program and guest book attendants.

The wedding reception was held at the Ramada Inn.

Following a wedding trip to Dunn's River, Jamaica, the couple are making their home in Webster Groves.
