NEW MADRID - Ethel Mae "Granny" Hall, 90, died Feb. 10, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 15, 1914, in Center Ridge, Ark., daughter of the late Hathaway and Nancy Flowers, she was a cook for New Madrid County R-1 Schools for many years before retiring and member of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church.
On Nov. 14, 1932, she married James M. "Matt" Hall who preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1970.
Survivors include: six sons and five daughters-in-law, Leon and Wanda Hall of Imperial, Calif., Jim and Sally Hall of New Madrid, Danny and Linda Hall of Kewanee, David and Janet Hall of Union City, Tenn., Bob Hall of Gassville, Ark., and Stan and Carol Hall of Clinton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cora Sue and Herb Seymore of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Shirlene and Arthur Smith of Laurel, Miss., Mary Lou Edwards of El Dorado, Kan.; two brothers, Amos Flowers and Dean Flowers of Center Ridge; two sisters, Lela Flowers of Center Ridge and Ruby Hoard of Morrilton, Ark.; and 25 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson; two brothers, Lloyd Flowers and Irple Flowers; and two sisters, Lovell Jones and Shelby Jean Flowers.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church with Arthur Smith and Tom McCanless officiating.
Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
Her sons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Herman Maxwell, James Taylor, Ray Fowler, J.R. Blankenship, David Eddy and Daniel Kimes.
