SIKESTON - Eileen J. Law, 87, died at 3:40 p.m. Feb. 10, 2005, at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews.

Born Nov. 6, 1917, in Clay County, Ark., to the late Edgar and Zula Jones Johnson, she formerly owned and operated the Shoe Box in Sikeston and was a member of the First Christian Church.

On May 28, 1938, at Bertrand, she married James Law, who preceded her in death on July 7, 1991.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Sue Dockins in May 2004, and one great-grandson, Jonathan Allen in 2000.

Survivors include: one son Joel Law of Sikeston; one grandson, Lee Dockins of the state of Arkansas; and one great-grandson, Joshua Allen of Sikeston.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Allen Shriver, pastor of the First Christian Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
