ST. LOUIS - Marilyn McGary, 48, died Oct. 4, 2004, in St. Louis.
Born June 4, 1956, in Caruthersville, daughter of the late Thomas and Elvira Jennings McGary, she graduated from the Waterloo East High School and was employed by Western Union Communications until 1980.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Lorenzo and Danielle McGary of St. Louis; one daughter and son-in-law, Syfira L. and Robert Sumrell of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Lorine Pointer, Vangie Redmond and Naomi McGary of St. Louis and Corine Frazier of Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Harold McGary Sr. of East St. Louis, Ill., Lonnie McGary of Memphis and Jerry McGary of Glendale, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were five brothers, Richard McGary, J.C. McGary, Willie McGary, Sterling McGary and Thomas McGary Jr.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. L.E. Pegues and Reginal Grant will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Lily of the Valley Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
