CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Homer H. Spradling, 83, died March 26, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 26, 1919, in Heber Springs, Ark., son of the late Jan and Letha Haney Gay Spradling, he was an independent insurance claims adjuster and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
On July 30, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, he married Maggie R. Spalding who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons, Gary Spradling of San Diego, Calif., and David Spradling of O'Fallon, Ill.; one daughter, Judith K. Richeson of Kingwood, Texas; and one sister, Hattie Boyer of Kewanee; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
No funeral service is scheduled.
Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
