SHOOK - Marjorie Mae McAllister, 78, died Aug. 17, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.

Born Nov. 1, 1924, in Freeland, Mich., daughter of the late Lewis E. and Erma Jane Alexander McLean, she was a member of the Community of Christ Church near Shook and Order of the Eastern Star in Greenville.

On July 6, 1946, at Shook, she married Hershel Lee McAllister who preceded her in death in December 1993.

Survivors include: four sons and three daughters-in-law, Willis McAllister of Shook, Ben and Wanda McAllister of Ely, Iowa, Roy and Brenda McAllister of Poplar Bluff and Bill and Judy McAllister of Puxico; two sisters, Beatrice Scott of Cuba, Mo., and Mary Clark of Willow Springs; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Hershel Lewis McAllister in 1974; and two brothers, Douglas McLean and Donald McLean.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Dale Rogers of Dexter and Byron Beck of Poplar Bluff will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery near Shook.
