James Bryan Sr.

ST. LOUIS - James E. Bryan Sr., 74, died Aug. 7, 2003, at his residence.

Born Nov. 2, 1928, to the late Joe and Fern Williams Bryan, he was a printing ink operator for a commercial printing company in St. Louis.

He was married to Wanda Branscum Bryan, who survives.

Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dennis Bryan, Kerry and Linda Bryan and James E. and Lucie Bryan Jr.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda Hunter and Teresa and Charles Barton Scherffius; three sisters, Vickie, Larama and Janie; and one brother, "Red" Bryan and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted today at the Kutis City Funeral Chapel in St. Louis with the Rev. Ray Duncan officiating.

Burial followed in the St. Paul Cemetery at Leslie.
