Vaughn - Boyd

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Gary Vaughn of Mounds have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amy Susan Vaughn, to Edward "Ned" Boyd Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Boyd of Sikeston, Mo.

A 1996 graduate of Meridian High School in Mounds, the future bride graduated in 2001 from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a registered pharmacist with the Kroger Company.

Boyd graduated in 1996 from Sikeston High School and graduated in 2000 with a degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. He is employed with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.

The couple will be married Sept. 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Mounds.
