OAK RIDGE, Tenn. -- Lenora C. Taylor, 87, died Sept. 9, 2007, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Born March 11, 1920, at Dexter, Mo., to the late Arthur O. and Cordella Moore, she had lived in Michigan for many years before moving to Oak Ridge in 1981.
On Aug. 28, 1929, she married Chester L. Taylor Sr. who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1981.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter and son-in-law, Doris A. and James A. Patch; one brother, Remmel Moore; and one sister, Iva Haynes.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Brenda Taylor of Oak Ridge and Chester and Ann Taylor of Royal Oak, Mich.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday at the Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Oak Ridge. The Rev. Kenny Bean officiated.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Dexter Cemetery.
