DEXTER - Barbara Sue Mims, 64, died March 31, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.
Born Sept. 4, 1940, at Kennett to the late Willie Lee and Ollie Bell Pruitt, she was a former employee of the Paramount Hat Factory in Dexter.
On Nov. 15, 1957, at Kokomo, Ind., she married Lesley Ray Mims, who survives of the home in Dexter.
Other survivors include: four sons, Larry Ray Mims and Steven Wayne Mims of Dexter, Gary Lee Mims of Potosi and Terry Dale Mims of Maryville, Ill.; one daughter, Patricia Sue Mims of Dexter; three brothers, Ronnie Lee of Green Town, Ind., Billy Lee of Kokomo and Eddie Lee of Dexter; one sister, Yvonne Davis of Green Town; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Duncan, and one sister, Violet Fortner.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Gary Gilbert will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
