ADVANCE -- Milford Leon Hinkle, 77, died March 31, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 22, 1928, near Advance, son of the late Otto and Lola Borders Hinkle, he retired after working as an assembler for General Motors for 30 years. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Greenbrier.
On March 19, 1950, he married Fern Livingston who preceded him in death on May 12, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary Hinkle of Sitka, Alaska, and Dale Hinkle of Lee Summit; two brothers, Ivan Hinkle and Dewayne Hinkle of Advance; one sister, Mildred Eftink; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. Saturday until time for services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The Rev. John James will officiate.
Burial will follow in Balch Cemetery near Zalma.
