KEWANEE -- Erin Elizabeth Lange and Richard Ryan Parker exchanged wedding vows in a 6 p.m. July 31, 2004, ceremony at the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Tom McCanless, pastor, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Vicki Lange of Portageville, and parents of the bridegroom are Ricky and Cheryl Parker of Sikeston.
Music for the occasion was provided by vocalists Patrick Hayes and Sarah Pfanstiel and the Sikeston String Quintet. Scripture reader was Rebecca Lange of Cape Girardeau.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory modified A-line matte satin, strapless gown designed by Cupid Bridal of Australia. Her neckline, bodice and hem were highlighted by delicate, gold bead work. Megan Lange of Portageville served the bride as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Brooke Adams of Springfield, Amanda Sexton of Dexter, Hailey Priday of Sikeston and Amy Moylan of Portageville.
Flower girl was Sunnie Underwood, daughter of Monica Underwood and Mark Underwood Portageville.
Best man was Chad Parker of Sikeston, and groomsmen were Derek Pearson, Damon Pearson and Brian Shaver of Cape Girardeau and Scott Blakey of Kelso.
Ring bearer was Dean Crippen, son of Steve and Lisa Crippen of Chaffee.
Ushers were Ryan Bateman and Patrick Hayes of Sikeston. Guest book attendant was Kristy Taylor of New Madrid, and Lanell Lange of Randall served as ceremony coordinator.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Coach House Inn in Miner. Parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Susie's Bake Shoppe in Sikeston.
Following a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica, the new Mr. and Mrs. Parker are making their home in Sikeston.
