EAST PRAIRIE - Geneva Mildred Organ Redfering, 89, died at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 2, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Oct. 10, 1915, at Morley to the late Linson and Jessie Fern Jenkins Dabbs, she lived all her life in Mississippi and New Madrid counties. A member of the First Church of God in East Prairie, she was a retired cook for the Charleston R-1 School District.

Survivors include: three daughters, Betty Ruth Burnes of New Madrid, Patsy Ray of East Prairie and Georgia Reid of Imperial; two sons, Louie "Red" Organ and Jerry Organ of East Prairie; and 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Fred E. Organ, one granddaughter, Karen Freeman, and one great-

great-grandchild, Ricky Burnes, preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. Larry Smith and Rob Kaspelher will officiate.

Burial will follow at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Steve, Bobby and David Burnes, Brenda King, Debbie Detring, Toni Stricklin, Michael Ray, Linda Abner, Randy, Jim and Derek Hardesty, Freddie Organ, Lisa Johnson, Jerra Schocke, Joe True and Becky Johnston.
