Sikeston varsity forfeits volleyball match

SIKESTON -- An automobile accident involving two children of Sikeston volleyball coach Steve Beydler forced a forfeit of a scheduled varsity match against Bell City on Monday.

Rachel Beydler, a member of the Sikeston volleyball squad, sustained injuries in the accident.

The Bell City junior varsity defeated Sikeston, 25-9, 27-25.
