DEXTER - Selena Elsinore Fowler, 84, died March 26, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter.
Born March 17, 1921, near Acorn Ridge, daughter of the late Albert and Bessie Shipman Green, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
On Nov. 1, 1941, at Ardeola, she married Chester Paul Fowler who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2001.
Also she was preceded in death by one son, Gail W. Fowler; four brothers, August Green, Harvey Green, Tilden Green and Frontz Green; and two sisters, Cleo Green and Mace Pruitt.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry W. Fowler of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Ronald D. Fowler of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Neva Ragsdel of Dexter; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico.
