Sikeston shooting update

SIKESTON -- The investigation continues into the Monday night shooting on Dorothy Street by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

According to a news release issued by DPS, there has been a third arrest. Another subject is also being sought in connection with the crime.

On Thursday, Scott County Prosecutor Paul Boyd issued warrants for Brandon Wright, 18, who was arrested Thursday night; and Ulyses Neal V, who had not yet been located at the time the release was issued.

Each has been charged with three counts of first degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, one count of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of felony property damage.

As of press time, Wright was being held at DPS under a $100,000 cash bond.
