ESSEX - Thomas W. Pulliam, 87, died March 8, 2005, at his home in Essex.
Born Sept. 15, 1917, in Doniphan to the late Thomas William and Lucy Jane Custer Pulliam, he was a retired employee of Himmelberger-Harrison Manufacturing in Morehouse and was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Wappapello.
On June 8, 1940, in Bloomfield, he married Evelyn Lou Wyatt who preceded him in death on March 31, 2001.
Also preceding him in death were three sisters.
Survivors include: four sons, James Pulliam of Dexter, George Pulliam of Grayridge, Daniel Pulliam of Essex, and Virgil Pulliam of Poplar Bluff; five daughters, Mary Northern of Dexter and Laura Heppe, Ruth Teague, Kay Etherton and Betty Lampkin of Essex; one brother, George Pulliam of Benton, Ill.; and 21 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Bill Lampkin of Essex and the Rev. Virgil Pulliam of Poplar Bluff officiating.
Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
