BERNIE -- Lola Mae Campbell, 84, died April 13, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Oct. 6, 1920, in Colt, Ark., daughter of the late Dee and Susie Williams Clayton, she was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church in Bernie.
On Oct. 29, 1937, at Colt, she married Sam Lee Campbell who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1993.
One son, Frank Campbell; one daughter, Dianne White; three brothers, Vernon Clayton, Edison Clayton and Wesley Clayton; and two sisters, Ruby Clayton and Elsie Clayton, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Edward Campbell of St. Clair, Stanley Campbell of Hillsboro and Tony Campbell and Scott Campbell of Bernie; four daughters, Mary Elizabeth Head of Advance, Iva Mae Croom of Bernie, Linda Berra of Hillsboro and Karen Cook of Murray, Ky.; one sister, Evelyn Parr of Three Rivers, Mich.; and 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Bill Garrett will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
