BERNIE - Mary Jane Wilson, 76, died Aug. 11, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 29, 1926, at Mount Judea, Ark., daughter of the late Osmer Lee and Sarah Emmaline Sexton Riddell, she was a founding member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bernie.
On Feb. 28, 1943, at Mount Judea, she married Arvil Lee Wilson who preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1986.
Survivors include: three sons, David Wayne Wilson of Pinson, Ala., Carl Joe Wilson of Bloomfield and Dennis Paul Wilson of Dexter; six daughters, Betty Louise Kilgore of Jasper, Ark., Geneva Lee Sweet of Yellville, Ark., Julie Irene Traughber of Bernie, Iva Jean Bay of Dexter, Kathie Parker of Malden and Janie Earline Warren of Tonopah, Ariz.; three brothers, Hershell Riddell and James Riddell of Malden and John Herman Riddell of Holcomb; two sisters, Julie Hampton and Mary Potts Darnell of Malden; and 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Robert Earl Wilson; and two brothers, A.J. Riddell and Russell Riddell.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Nathan Lamirand will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
