Diane Coffer, 54, formerly of Charter Oak, died Nov. 11, 2005, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 24, 1951, in Holcomb, daughter of the late William E. and Ona Asher Dial, she graduated from Charter Oak School and move to Sikeston in 1969, After 35 years of service, she retired from Southwestern Bell.
On Oct. 7, 1991, in Sikeston, she married Herman Coffer of Sikeston, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: three sons, Joseph Shuffit of Jackson, David Shuffit of Jackson and Gary Coffer of Russellville, Ark.; three daughters, Ashley Dean of Springfield, Lynn Shuffit of Sikeston and Sheri Seabaugh of Blodgett; one brother, William E. Dial of Demopolis, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Dolan Roger of Sikeston and the Rev. Paul Burdine of Cape Girardeau, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
