SIKESTON - Magnolia Davis, 90, died Oct. 3, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Sept. 4, 1913, in Oxford, Miss., daughter of the late John W. and Rosie Lee Webb Simmons, she lived in Missouri for more than 70 years. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Canalou.
Her first marriage was to Percy Jenkins and her second marriage was to Melvin Davis Sr. Both have preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Melvin L. Davis Jr. of Kansas City; two daughters, Oralee Jones and Marilyn Trotter of Chicago, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, including Joyce Ray of Chicago and Jacquelyn Parker of St. Louis, whom she raised.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at 11 a.m. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Moses Grayson will officiate.
Burial will follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
