On Tuesday, April 5, the voters of the Kelly School District will vote on an issue that, if passed, will add a major addition to Thomas W. Kelly High School. The proposal will not increase the current 42 cents per 100 dollar assessed valuation debt service levy beyond what it is right now.
Again, the debt service levy will not increase, it will stay the same. The addition will bring students in from mobile units, help expand curricular offerings, and allow the middle school and elementary to spread out within the existing structure. I do encourage the voters of the Kelly School District to examine this issue and see what it offers for all the children at Kelly Schools.
