PARMA - Patricia Ann Maher is the mother of her first child, a daughter, born at 4:50 p.m. Jan. 10, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Patrina Maria Maher weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Grandparents are Tina Villella and Rick Maher.

DEXTER - Samantha Mae Azure and Daniel Joseph Zalesak are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 10:16 a.m. Jan. 12, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Sathaniel Rae Zalesak weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21-inches long.

Azure, daughter of John and Tracey Azure, is employed by Tyson Foods.

Zalesak is the son of Joe Zalesak and Sherri Ventura.

CHARLESTON - Gregory Roy and Jennifer Lee Birk are the parents of their fourth child, third son, born at 5:25 p.m. Jan. 12, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Adam Benjamin Birk weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Birk is the former Jennifer Langton, daughter of Harriett Heumann of Bertrand. She is self-employed at Birk Design Company in Charleston.

Birk, son of Roy and Judy Birk of Charleston, is a self-employed farmer.
