Born June 16, 1911, in Sunflower County, Miss., daughter of the late Nathan and Caroline Pruitt, she was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn for many years.
Her husband, Tom Moore Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Tom Moore Jr., Sammy Moore, Lewis Moore and Lonnie Moore of Lilbourn; two daughters, Edna Moore of Howardville and Essie B. Harris of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Sarah Qusley of Hollandale, Miss.; and 39 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three sons, Eugene Moore, Willie Moore and J.W. Moore Sr.; one daughter, Melvina Moore; one brother, Joe Emerson; and one sister, Viola Dorsey.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Kenneth Holloway will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Simmons Burial Park at Catron.
Pallbearers will be: Demetrius Moore, Lennis Moore, Derek Moore, Roosevelt Harris, Alan King and Tonio Moore.
