EAST PRAIRIE - Allen Dale Carlyle Sr., 48, died at 5:32 a.m. Sep. 7, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 6, 1957, in Wyatt, son of Bonnie L. Weems Carlyle-McLain and the late P.L. Carlyle, he had lived all of his life in Mississippi County. He was a truck driver and of the Pentecostal belief.
On June 2, 1997, he married Shirley Ann Blasingain who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Allen D. Carlyle Jr. of East Prairie; three daughters, Melisa Dawn and Allana Kristen Carlyle of East Prairie and Amanda Myrick of Sikeston; one stepson, Bryan Joseph Cogdill of East Prairie; two stepdaughters, Lona Danielle and Wendy Leigh Cogdill of East Prairie; four brothers, Bobby Carlyle of Charleston, Phillip and Martin Carlyle of East Prairie and Scott Carlyle of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Connie Crocker, Bonita Patrick and June Wheatley of East Prairie; his stepfather, James McLain of East Prairie; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. Mike Johnson and Jim Day will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
