BOCA RATON, Fla. - Mary Alice Fox Brutsche, 44, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Sept. 5, 2005, at her home in Boca Raton, Fla.
Born Aug. 29, 196l, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of Leslie Fox of Charleston and the late Alice Lee Burnett Fox. A graduate of Charleston High School, she received an Associate of Arts from Bauder Fashion College in Ft. Worth, Texas. She also received accreditation as graduate gemologiest from the Gemology Institute of America in California. She worked in St. Louis with Gary Hanson Enterprises until 1997, at which time she moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., then to Boca Raton, where she worked in the main office of Columbian Emeralds from 1998 to 2003. She was a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church.
On Nov. 9, 1997, she married Scott Brutsche who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Shelby and Donna Fox of Charleston; and two nieces, Ali and Maggie Fox, both of Charleston.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Saturday until time for services at 11 a.m. at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Roger Jespersen, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Charleston, and the Rev. Roland Ashby of New Braunfels, Texas, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Scott Bryant, David Brewer Jr., Jim Wixson, Mike Brutsche, John Moreton and Charles Holley.
