Gary Cooper

DYERSBURG, Tenn. - Gary E. Cooper, 61, died Sept. 22, 2003, at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Charleston, Mo., he retired from the U.S. Navy.

His wife, Cindy Dickerson Cooper, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Michelle Cooper Williams of Covington; two sons, Richard Cooper and Tony Cooper of Millington; one stepdaughter, Kristy Reeves of Dyersburg; one sister, Jean Parton of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Barger Cooper of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jerry Cooper of Denver, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.

Services were conducted Wednesday at the Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington.

Burial followed in Covington Memorial Gardens.
