HAYFORK, Calif. -- Paul David "P.D." Hutchason, 83, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Aug. 29, 2003, at his home following an extended illness.
Born March 14, 1920, in Sikeston, son of the late Curly and Bertha Hutchason, he moved to Hayfork in 1953, and was the owner and operator of Hutchason Shell Station in Hayfork. He then worked for the Trinity County Sheriff's Department and the Hayfork Park. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
His wife, Gloys Hutchason, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dwight Hutchason and David Hutchason of Hayfork; three brothers, Frank Hutchason of Fulton, Mo., Bill Hutchason, Kenosha, Wis., and Ted Hutchason of East Prairie, Mo.; two sisters, Mackie Seagraves of Sikeston and Susan Shadwell of Wappapello, Mo.; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
McDonald-Files Chapel in Weaverville was in charge of arrangements.
