Born May 25, 1932, in Pocahontas, Ark., daughter of the late Guy and Leota Keil Templeton, she lived in the Puxico area before moving to Grand Blanc four years ago. A member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church in Goodrich, she was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 422 in Puxico and Lodge 481 in Goodrich and a life member of VFW Post 7822 Ladies Auxiliary.
On July 13, 1953, in St. Louis, she married Lloyd Elledge who preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2000.
Survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley and Larry Crank of Puxico and Janet Elledge and Donna and Scott Eddy of Goodrich; one sister, Eunice Sumowski; four grandchildren, Jeff Crank, Brian Eddy, Joe Eddy and Lisa Crank; and two great-grandsons.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where VFW and Eastern Star services will begin at 7 p.m.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wappapello (Mo.) Cemetery.
