Born Aug. 6, 1941, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of the late Lloyd and Leonna Madwell Harmon, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church of New Madrid.
On April 6, 1963, she married William Henry who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Debra Grace of Sikeston and Lila Burnes of Lilbourn; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Pam Henry Jr. of Lilbourn and Tim and Laurie Henry of New Madrid; six sisters, Nadine Fowler of the state of California, Labona Thacker, Sandy Meador and Rachel Harmon Hinds of Portageville and Betty Davidson and Glenda Long of Lilbourn; three brothers, C.L. Harmon of the state of California, Kenny Harmon of Portageville and Stanley Harmon of Morehouse; her stepmother, Ora Harmon of Missouri; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Darren Henry; and one daughter, Lavonda Sue Henry.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Tom McCanless will officiate.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
